Here at The Front Room, we use local suppliers for all our food and drink wherever we can. This includes locally roasted coffee from Origins, meat from Cornish farms, bread from Baker Tom’s and fresh Cornish fish.

The famous Baker Tom’s began in Tom’s kitchen in the corner of the South West over 10 years ago. They now deliver everything from organic sourdoughs to traditional tin loaves all over the county. All our bread is from Baker Tom’s as well as our delicious scones.

All our fresh fish and seafood is supplied locally by Matthew Stevens and our meat comes from Harvey Brothers butchers, a traditional family butcher that was established in 1988.

If you are a coffee connoisseur, then The Front Room will delight and enchant you. Our coffee comes from renowned coffee experts Origin, who hand roast their beans in Helston.

Origin Coffee was founded in 2004 by Tom Sobey, who intended to create exceptional coffee through a sustainable, triple bottom line approach. Their coffee roasters Geoff Jenkin and Rob Lawes are based at The Roastery in Helston, Cornwall. Geoff has been roasting at Origin for seven years and Rob more recently for just over a year. 

They are a certified B Corporation. B Corp is the only certification that measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance. It interrogates everything from supply chains and input materials to charitable giving and employee benefits. It’s the gold standard of sustainability.
