The Front Room a quirky cafe and bar in the centre of Penzance, Cornwall that offers sumptuous all-day breakfasts, fulfilling lunches, tasty tapas and an amazing selection of cakes and cream teas.

Inside this traditional Cornish cottage is a cosy, welcoming atmosphere enhanced by our eclectic mix of decor. The fun continues in our cafe’s sheltered garden, with disco balls and fairy lights decorating the space. Our suntrap is the perfect spot to enjoy coffee and cake in the sun, even a cocktail in the afternoon!

It’s a great place to meet friends and family. We are dog friendly so feel free to bring your four-legged friends along too. All our food is made fresh and to order using the best produce from select local producers and wholesalers.

We serve homemade wholesome, tasty food from 9am, Monday to Saturday. Come to The Front Room for wholesome food and drink in a relaxing atmosphere.

At The Front Room, you will only get the best locally sourced, fresh ingredients that Cornwall has to offer. We have an extensive breakfast menu that covers anything from Cornish breakfasts and Eggs Benedict to American style pancakes.

From 12pm our main menu includes our fabulous selection of tapas along with fresh salads and sandwiches. We have plenty of vegan and gluten-free options and you can choose from sourdough, granary and white bread all from Baker Tom’s!

Breakfasts are served between 9am and 12pm daily. Lunch and tapas are available from 12pm. Coffees and cakes served all day and we have a kids menu. On Sundays, we serve the breakfast and lunch menu only (no tapas). See our menu below.
